Continued 'The Hideaway Tales'
A bit more to the story!!!
The hideaway valley stood in between the fields and wood
The hideaway valley stood in between the fields and wood
One of the cottages with a warm light there stood
The story starts with a knock at the door
They couldn’t see Toad at first, as he was down low to the floor.
A warm welcome arrived to Rospo’s surprise

The Hideaway Tales
The winters Tale
Deep in a peaceful Italian valley called The Hideaway.
There were many a magical creature that lived and played all day.
But you know it never used to be so.
It all started one day in a long winters snow.
Rospo the toad had nowhere to go, from a far away land with just a suitcase in hand.
Here is a brief intro to my new story, it is based on a real place, where if you just sit quietly enough you just never know what you may find.
More coming soon and hopeful available to buy this summer.
Keep ward till the spring comes.

At the bottom of the garden!

At the bottom of the Garden!
Up and down the steps to the pond we go
To where the fish and frogs may show
Hidden in the shrub so no one may know.
To disturb you must beg their pardon,
At the bottom of the garden
If you’re quiet you may hear
The many creatures that live there
Down in the ground goes the roller mole
Not the only animal to live in a hole
At the bottom of the garden
Here I would like to share the start of this poem for kids. I would also like to hear from any other childrens poem writers.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Now everything is getting back to routine and the kids are back at school. I have a chance to write. Christmas for me is bringing lights and greenery into the home to remind us that ever green life lives within the dark months of winter and the new sun will grow again bringing back the warmth. Can't wait!!
News! Lorenzo four days at Filo d'oro was interesting he just wanted to go home the whole time but his hi-light was getting the chance to have music therapy. He impressed us all when he tried to find the notes the therapist was playing and did really well. Also he loved bouncing on a very large therapy ball which was exhausting for me as I held him. He got very bored putting shapes into the spaces required. His attitude was "I've done this can I go home now or listen to some music" In the evening in our accommodation it was very noisy. The other Italian families that were staying weren't early to bed people, so Lolli couldn't sleep, that made him even more agitated. All in all it was interesting as we learnt he's a bright little boy who is very stuborn and impatient. Don't know where he gets that from?!
Our plans for the new year are to try and get a holiday where we can do nothing but chill out under some warm sun away from home. Sell our house and move on to some small home with a garden would be good.I have started writing, a short story called The hideaway Tales. More info on ambamoon blog coming soon. Please check it out
